Jacobs Consulting and Management, LLC was started by Angela Jenkins-Jacobs in 2008.  She began working with her husband, Terrell Jacobs, to look at services that they could provide to people like them to increase their well-being and improve the condition of their lives. Their business developed into a ministry as such to help people where they are and address what they are going through. Together, they have 3 adult daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and one grandson.
