My name is Angela Jenkins-Jacobs, DNP, CLNC, PMHNP-BC. I have been a mental health nurse for over 20 years — teaching mental health nurses to RN students, Behavioral Health Programs, working as an RN, and Service Line Director for inpatient, outpatient psychiatric departments. I specialize in adult and geriatric psychiatric patients. I helped open 2 Geriatric Psychiatric Units and 2 outpatient psychiatric practices. I have worked as a consultant to prepare psychiatric units for Audits, CMS, and The Joint Commission reviews. I have been a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) across the lifespan, and I have been Board Certified through the ANCC since graduating from Georgia College and State University in 2018. I have held a Doctorate in Nursing Practice since 2014, also from Georgia College and State University. I have an active NPI, DEA with no legal issues past or present.

I believe in holistic care and I work great with my team of Social Workers, Clinicians, Therapists, Naturopathic, and Medical Providers. I believe we all can contribute to the well-being of the patient by meeting their individual needs based on their history, medical co-morbidities, environment, and emotional support needs. I keep my patients engaged in their mental health care and provide a professional, yet emotionally safe and empathetic, environment.

I am also a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. I am available as a Contract 1099 employee as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Educator, Consultant, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Expert Witness, Review Health Medical Records for Legal cases, or interim management.
