Work with Terrell
I was born in Blackshear, Georgia, the baby of seven children. I attended and graduated from Pierce County Public School. I continued my education at Valdosta State University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-Law and later received a Masters Degree in Public Administration.
I have served in local government for more than 28 years starting as a Planner, Human Resources Director, Finance Director, Assistant City Manager and as a City Manager for over 13 years. I served on various boards and committees in my previous community. I am a credential manager with the International City/County Manager Association.
I have been an active church member serving on the finance committee, deacon board, trustee board and singing in the adult choir in my community’s churches.
